Mark Atherton is a Vice President of NAI San Diego, specializing in industrial and office leasing and sales, as well as land sales for residential, industrial and office.

Mark has over 20 years of real estate experience, having aggregate sales volume of over $200,000,000 in Southern California and Nevada.

He has a Bachelor’s degree from Murray State University with a concentration in real estate where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Additionally, Mark received an M.B.A. from Murray State University. Mark is a licensed attorney in the state of California. He received his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in San Diego. His specialties are in land use, taxation and real property law. In 1983 Mark started his real estate career with Merrill Lynch Commercial Real Estate and has consistently been among the top ten performers.

Currently he lives in the La Jolla area where he enjoys jogging, golf and saltwater fishing. Mark is an active member of the San Diego County Building Industry Association (B.I.A.) and serves on the Political Policies Committee.
