John Anewalt has been a Vice President of NAI San Diego since its beginning, specializing in commercial and industrial sales and leasing.

John started in real estate in 1980 with California Investment Counsel, an office, hotel, and apartment developer. In 1982 John worked for W.H. Daum & Co. in Carlsbad, California specializing in office and industrial properties. In 1992 John was elected president of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce. During that year the Chamber assisted the City of Carlsbad in attracting Lego Land.

John is a graduate of Stanford University with a B.A. in Classics and Economics. He is a member of the Rotary Club of San Diego and resides with his wife and three children in the Sabre Springs community of San Diego.
